<p dir="ltr">Data includes microplastic abundance in fish and sediment collected between 2018 – 2020 with collections ca. every 3 months. Samples were collected from Erith in the Thames Estuary. Sediment was collected with an Ekman grab and plastic extracted with a ZnCl2 density separation. Fish were collected with an otter trawl and microplastics extracted with a KOH digestion.</p><p dir="ltr">The file consists of nine data worksheets: Sediment Abundance, Biota Abundance, Sediment MPs, Crangon MPs, Osmerus MPs, Platichthys MPs, Solea MPs, Contamination Controls Sediment, and Contamination Controls Biota.</p>
